SES AI (SES) said Thursday it has signed its first commercial agreement with an unnamed electrolyte producer for the development of Li-Metal and Li-ion electrolytes across EV, heavy-duty trucking, consumer electronics, and grid storage applications.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Additionally, SES has promoted Chief Scientist Kang Xu to chief technology officer. Xu joined the company in August last year.
Shares of the company were down 0.6% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
