Tivan (ASX:TVN) achieved an improvement in both fluorite grades and recoveries to its acidspar product during the current phase of flotation optimization test work for the Speewah fluorite project in Western
Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It achieved up to 98.8% grade of calcium fluorite from 14 cleaner flotation trials, with the tests demonstrating the potential to improve fluorite recoveries to 95% from 90% at the 97% calcium fluorite acidspar product specification, the filing said.
