Children's Place said Monday that it has appointed John Szczepanski as chief financial officer, effective March 31.
Most recently, Szczepanski served as CFO of Vince Holding a contemporary group led by the luxury apparel brand Vince. Prior to that, he held several positions which culminated in his appointment as CFO of Ralph Lauren's global supply chain, brands and lifestyle group.
Laura Lentini, the company's chief accounting officer, has been serving as interim chief financial officer since Dec. 15, after its CFO, Sheamus Toal, stepped down.
The company confirmed at the time that it wasn't due to any disagreement between Toal and the company concerning operations, policies or practices.
