Financial stocks advanced premarket Thursday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) up 0.2% recently.
The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 0.5% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.6% lower.
First Financial Northwest (FFNW) shares rose past 17% after the company said the National Credit Union Administration approved the sale of its First Financial Northwest Bank subsidiary to Global Federal Credit Union.
Futu Holdings (FUTU) reported higher Q4 earnings and revenue. Its shares were down 0.3%.
Deutsche Bank (DB) said it expects revenue to rise across all four core divisions in 2025 to 32 billion euros ($34.78 billion), after booking a 4% increase to 30.1 billion euros last year. Deutsche Bank shares were down 1% pre-bell.
