1134 ET - Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon says in a letter to shareholders accompanying the annual report that "we have put ourselves on the path to generating mid-teens returns through the cycle." Solomon says that running the firm more efficiently will help the company achieve its goals. He says Goldman will also lean on AI, including a developer copilot coding assistant and a natural-language GS AI assistant. "Throughout 2025, we intend to continue increasing the use of these tools in day-to-day workflows," Solomon writes. "These efficiencies will allow us to further invest in growth and improve the client experience over time," he says.(connor.hart@wsj.com)
