Goldman Sachs Reportedly Pays Top Executives 30% More in Total Compensation in 2024

Goldman Sachs (GS) paid four of its top executives $126.5 million in total compensation in 2024, according to a proxy statement filed Friday.

The Financial Times reported earlier that the total compensation reflects a 30% increase in 2024 from $97 million a year earlier.

Total annual compensation for Chairman and CEO David Solomon stood at $39 million in 2024, according to the regulatory filing.

John Waldron, the company's president and chief operating officer, earned $38 million, while finance chief Denis Coleman made $27 million.

Kathryn Ruemmler, the company's general counsel, earned $22.5 million.

In contrast, pay for the company's total staff of 46,500 rose by 8% from 2023, the FT reported.
