UOB Chairman Wong Kan Seng Ups His Stake in Bank by 10,050 Shares for Total Cost of $385,000

UOB chairman and former deputy prime minister Wong Kan Seng ups bought a total of 10,050 ordinary shares via market transaction on Feb 28 and March 3, for $38.14 and $$39.295 a piece respectively. 

The shares were bought for a total cost of about $385,000. This brings Wong’s total stake in the bank up to 75,120 shares, or 0.004% of the total number of ordinary voting shares per unit. 

Wong was appointed to the board of UOB in July 2017 and became its independent chairman in February 2018.

UOB’s shares closed 15 cents lower or 0.391% down at $38.20 on March 4.
