Today’s HotCopper Highlights: Red Sky’s Yarrow fracturing, Aracadium halt | March 6, 2025

The ASX 200 has dipped into the red today after originally opening slightly up, with the drop mostly led by sagging stocks in the Energy sector.

As mentioned, Energy has been the laggard on the local bourse today, down as much as 2.5% on the back of fears U.S. tariffs may hurt crude oil imports. Utilities followed in the red, down around 1.6%, as did Healthcare.

Staples was the only sector up at lunchtime today: It had added around 0.1%.

Red Sky (ASX:ROG) has been the most viewed company on the HotCopper forums today after the South Australia energy explorer successfully completed two hydraulic fracturing stages at its Yarrow 1 well to enhance gas flow.

Some HotCopper users have also been interested in Arcadium Lithium (ASX:LTM) and where it’s headed next following a sudden trading halt for the miner today.

And also being discussed is West African Resources (ASX:WAF): The gold miner today shared it had banked $240 million in net profit after tax through 2024.
