Intuitive Machines (LUNR) shares were down by more than 35% premarket Friday after reports that its Athena moon lander appeared to have landed on its side, similar to what happened with the company's lunar landing last year.
According to Reuters, Intuitive Machines Chief Executive Steve Altemus said data indicated that the lander was on its side, potentially complicating power generation.
Intuitive Machines did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
