Update: Ready Capital Shares Fall After Q4 Revenue Miss, Loss From Continuing Operations

Ready Capital (RC) shares plunged over 27% in recent trading on Monday after the company's Q4 revenue missed analysts' expectations.

The company reported a Q4 loss from continuing operations of $1.80 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.12 a year earlier.

No analyst estimates were available for comparison.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $77.1 million, compared with $112.6 million a year earlier.
