Southern Cross Gold Consolidated Doubles Victoria Gold-Antimony Exploration Target

Southern Cross Gold Consolidated (ASX:SX2) said that its Sunday Creek gold-antimony exploration target in Victoria nearly doubled for the year compared with its exploration target for 2024, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The estimated range of potential mineralization for the target is 8.1 million tonnes to 9.6 million tonnes at 8.3 grams per tonne grade of gold equivalent to 10.6 g/t gold equivalent for 2.2 million ounces of gold equivalent to 3.2 million ounces of gold equivalent.

It is continuing to drill at the target and two additional drill rigs are scheduled to join the project.

The firm's shares rose past 3% on market close on Tuesday.
