An Honor representative said the funds would come from the company and its investors but did not provide additional details, according to the report. Honor will collaborate with global partners like Qualcomm, Google, Orange, and Telefonica.
Honor's move comes amid a surge in AI investments in China, driven by advancements like DeepSeek's chatbot, Bloomberg wrote.
