Philippines' PPI for Manufacturing Improves in January

Philippines' producer price index (PPI) for manufacturing edged up 0.8% in January from 0.1% in the month prior, data from the Philippine Statistics Authority showed on Tuesday.

The slight increase was driven mainly by a higher annual rate of the PPI for manufacture of chemical and chemical products industry division at 2.4% in January from 1.4% rise in December 2024, the data showed.
