Jupiter Wagons Arm Bags Order Worth INR2.55 Billion

Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory, a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons (NSE:JWL, BOM:533272), has secured an order worth 2.55 billion Indian rupees from Braithwait & Co., according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The contract is for the supply of 9,140 wheelsets of 840 mm diameter for 25-ton axle load applications.

The deal increases the company's total order book to 5.60 billion rupees.

The company aims to nearly double the contribution from its wheel business with a targeted revenue of 6 billion rupees business in the financial year 2025-26.

The company expects revenue to be boosted by increased production capacity, strong order inflows, and enhanced domestic manufacturing capabilities, including setting up a new manufacturing facility in Odisha, India.
