China Minsheng Banking Sells 20 Billion Yuan Bonds

China Minsheng Banking (HKG:1988, SHA:600016) completed the issue of 20 billion yuan of bonds in the national interbank bond market on Feb. 20, a Feb 21 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

The bonds carry a coupon rate of 1.85% and will fall due in three years, according to the Chinese lender.

Proceeds from the issue will be used to ensure asset and liability allocation, enrich sources of funding, optimize the maturity structure of liabilities, and promote the healthy development of business.
