0744 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly higher, with IG calling the OMXS30 up 0.2% at around 2731. U.S. stock markets fell yesterday while the U.S. dollar weakened broadly against most currencies and the U.S. 10-year yield is trading a few basis points lower, SEB analysts say in a note. The Hong Kong stock market is rallying this morning after a strong report from tech company Alibaba. The outcome from last night's talks between Ukraine and the U.S. is unclear, after a planned joint press conference following the talks was canceled. Germany's general election is Sunday and SEB says protracted government formation talks risk paralyzing Europe at a time when strong leadership is needed on trade negotiations with the U.S. and the situation in Ukraine. OMXS30 closed at 2725.09, OMXN40 at 2637.07 and OBX at 1414.98. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
