New Age Exploration (ASX:NAE) identified up to 15.6 grams per tonne grade of gold from resampled assays taken after its phase-two air core drilling campaign at the Wagyu project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The mineral explorer said the latest assay results raise the number of "significant" intercepts to 16, with several drill holes showing multiple zones of gold mineralization, per the filing.
A reverse circulation drilling program will be launched in March to follow up high-priority targets.
The mineral explorer's shares tumbled 20% in recent Monday trade.
