Carvana $(CVNA)$: The online used-car seller posted better-than-expected adjusted earnings, but revenue per vehicle fell last quarter. Shares dropped 9% ahead of the open.

Palantir $(PLTR)$: Shares in the supplier of data-analytics services for defense agencies fell more than 2.5% premarket, having slid 10% during Wednesday's main session. The moves came after media reports of potential U.S. defense budget cuts, and after Palantir's chief executive adopted a new stock-trading plan.

Grab $(GRAB)$: Grab's annual guidance disappointed investors. Its U.S.-listed shares fell 7% premarket. Grab, whose ride-hailing app rivals Uber in Southeast Asia, is doubling down on AI as it plans for self-driving cars.

Earnings are due from Walmart $(WMT)$ and Alibaba $(BABA)$ before the U.S. bell.
