Airbus Delays A350 Cargo Aircraft as Supply Issues Loom, Reuters Says, Citing Sources

--Airbus is delaying a new freighter version of its A350 jet by up to a year and faces challenges in increasing output of its existing A350 passenger aircrafts due to supply issues, Reuters reports, citing unnamed sources.

--Delays of fuselage parts from Spirit AeroSystems could cause an informal cap on A350 production through the rest of this year, Reuters says. However, the European plane maker still aims to meet its target of twelve A350s a month during 2028, according to Reuters.

--Airbus declined to comment on production. Spirit AeroSystems declined to comment.
