1045 GMT - Airbus's proposal to distribute a normal dividend and a special version feels slightly underwhelming given its available pile of cash, Jefferies analysts write in a note to investors. The European plane maker plans to propose a 2024 dividend of 2 euros a share and a special dividend of 1 euro a share at its upcoming annual general meeting. Last year, the company proposed a dividend of 1.80 euros a share and a special dividend of 1 euro a share. The analysts say they were expecting more since Airbus reported a net cash position of 11.75 billion euros at the end of 2024. Airbus shares trade 1% lower at 167.26 euros. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
