Judo Capital Holdings' (ASX:JDO) Chair Peter Hodgson has decided to step down as of Feb. 28 and will be succeeded by Judo Capital co-founder David Hornery, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Hodgson will remain on the board as a senior independent director and take the role of chair of the board risk committee, the filing added.
Hornery has more than 35 years of experience in Australian banks, including National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) and ANZ Group Holdings (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ), the filing said.
Company shares were up 9% in recent Tuesday trade, earlier reaching their highest since December 2021.
