Magna International Sees Pick Up in 2026 After Sluggish 2025 -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
14 Feb

0848 ET - Magna International expects a number of headwinds to weigh on 2025 profit before rebounding modestly in 2026. On an analyst call, executives say FX headwinds will be one of the main drags due largely to a stronger US dollar, as well as a less favorable program mix, and the end of production of Jaguar's assembly programs. Generally, globally lower light vehicle production will be the overall drag. However, management sees a pick up in 2026, and sales are expected between $40.5 billion and $42.6 billion, up from an $38.6 billion to $40.2 billion expected in 2025. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
