Travelers (TRV) said Tuesday it estimates its California wildfire catastrophe losses in January at $1.7 billion before tax.
The estimate covers losses in both personal and commercial insurance, including its Fidelis quota share, assessments under the California FAIR Plan, and expected reinsurance recoveries, the company said.
