Fitch Ratings has placed an A- long-term rating and BBB+(xgs) ex-government support long-term rating on Nomura International Funding's 10-year US dollar senior unsecured notes, according to a Sunday release.
Nomura Holdings (TYO:8604), the Singapore-based financial service provider's parent, guarantees the senior unsecured notes.
The guaranteed notes' rating is similar to Nomura Holdings' long-term issuer default rating given its role as guarantor.
Changes in the guarantor's rating would result in similar action on the guaranteed notes, Fitch said.
