RTX's (RTX) Raytheon business said Wednesday that its Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor has completed a complex live-fire test.
The company said the LTAMDS detected and tracked a high-speed cruise missile and guided a Patriot Advanced Capability-2 Guidance Enhanced Missile-T to shoot it down.
Raytheon said the radar system is expected to transition to production in Q2.
