Feb 4 - (The Insurer) - TransRe has promoted Louise Rose to president of international, replacing Andy Taylor, and Kyle Rhodes to president of Americas.
Rose has been with TransRe for 28 years, most recently as president of TransRe’s London and EMEA business units. In her new role she will lead the strategic direction of TransRe’s London, EMEA and Asia Pacific business units and provide oversight to the management of TransRe's regional clients and brokers. Rose will continue as CEO of TransRe London in addition to the new role.
She will replace Taylor, who announced his retirement after 25 years at the company. He first joined as chief underwriting officer in 1999 and is set to retire on 31 May.
Rhodes joined TransRe in 2006 and most recently served as the head of TransRe’s US and Canadian business units. In his new role, he will provide additional support and oversight for TransRe’s Latin American business unit.
Both Rose and Rhodes will report to Paul McKeon, TransRe’s president of global underwriting.
"I have worked with [Rose] and [Rhodes] for many years and I have seen the respect they command from colleagues, clients and brokers alike. I have every confidence they will bring that same strong combination of attention to detail and big picture perspective to these increased responsibilities," McKeon said.
