New Age Exploration (ASX:NAE) has completed a second aboriginal cultural heritage survey at its Wagyu Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Conducted in partnership with the Kariyarra Aboriginal, the survey expands access to high-priority gold targets, supporting future exploration, the filing said.
The two-day survey ensured that exploration activities comply with cultural and statutory requirements, the filing added.
The survey follows successful air core drilling in July and October 2024, which returned "significant" gold mineralization, NAE said.
A 3,000-meter reverse circulation drill program is set to start in March 2025 at the project.
