Westpac Banking (ASX:WBC, NZE:WBC) appointed Paul Fowler as chief executive of its business and wealth unit, the company said in a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Fowler joined the bank in 2015 and also served as chief financial officer of institutional banking and markets, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose nearly 1% in recent Tuesday trade in New Zealand.
