Singapore Airlines (SGX:C6L) entered into a memorandum of understanding with Aether Fuels to source neat sustainable aviation fuel in the US and South East Asia, according to a company release on Tuesday.
Through the partnership, Singapore Airlines will procure sustainable aviation fuel for five years once Aether starts production, with an option of extend for another five years.
The Chicago-based company will produce fuel through waste carbon feedstock and will achieve this through its Aether AuroraTM technology.
