Synaptics President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Hurlston has stepped down.
Hurlston is leaving to pursue other opportunities effective immediately, the San Jose, Calif.-based artificial intelligence company said Monday.
Synaptics said Ken Rizvi, its chief financial officer, will step in as interim CEO. Board chair Nelson Chan will fill in as executive chairman for the time being.
The board has begun a search for a permanent replacement, the company said.
