Nokia (NOK) has been selected by DE-CIX to upgrade the backbone network for DE-CIX's Internet Exchange backbone in New York, the companies said Monday.
The backbone will be upgraded to 400 gigabit ethernet using Nokia's optical technology and will be redesigned in a ring topology, the companies said.
