WH Group's Spun-Off Subsidiary Closes Lower in Trading Debut

WH Group's (HKG:0288) spun-off subsidiary Smithfield placed a little lower on its trading debut on Tuesday after the company priced about 26.1 million shares at $20 apiece, below its marketed range, in the initial public offering, a same-day press release stated.

The shares opened at $21.05 on Tuesday and closed 1.3% lower at $19.75.
