Artificial intelligence firm SenseTime (HKG:0020) plans to spin off its healthcare platform, SenseTime Healthcare, as a new entity, the South China Morning Post reported Sunday.
SenseTime Healthcare is "seeking new investments" and has completed its pre-series A funding round, the SCMP said, citing chief scientist for medical foundation models Li Hongsheng.
SenseTime Healthcare has an AI-enabled smart hospital service covering diagnostic and treatment help, AI patient service, and AI medical and hospital group services, among others, the SCMP said.
