3M Expects Sales to Keep Rising -- Market Talk

0719 ET - 3M reports $5.8 billion in adjusted sales for 4Q, ahead of analyst estimates, to cap off a year in which the materials manufacturer returned to organic revenue growth. That growth is expected to continue in 2025. 3M is guiding for adjusted total sales to rise between half a percent and 1.5% this year, and 2% to 3% on an organic basis. Adjusted earnings meanwhile are expected to be $7.60 to $7.90 a share, in line with current analyst projections for $7.78 a share, according to FactSet. Shares rise 5% to $148.10 premarket.
