0755 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening higher, with IG calling the OMXS30 up 0.5% at around 2661. Stock market sentiment was positive for the third day in a row yesterday, with technology stocks in particular driving U.S. equity markets higher, SEB analysts say in a note. The boost in tech stocks came mainly from the U.S. AI investment announced by President Trump on Tuesday, SEB says. Asian stock markets have followed the U.S. higher, with the Japanese stock market supported by positive trade balance data, while Chinese markets have been supported by new stimulus measures. Norges Bank's interest-rate announcement is due today but the market will mainly focus on Trump's address to the World Economic Forum later, SEB adds. OMXS30 closed at 2647.99, OMXN40 at 2528.95 and OBX at 1404.88. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
