CHICAGO, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for soybeans fell at river terminals and other facilities in the U.S. Midwest on Thursday as demand for supplies eased following selling by farmers, traders said.
* The corn basis was mixed to steady.
* Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures Sv1 reached their highest level since July on Wednesday, while corn futures Cv1 hit a December 2023 high on Thursday.
* Rising prices have encouraged farmer selling.
* Soybean basis bids declined by 5 cents each at river terminals in Seneca, Illinois and near Davenport, Iowa.
* At a processor in Lincoln, Nebraska, the soybean basis fell by 10 cents a bushel after a 5-cent drop there on Wednesday.
