Astrazeneca (AZN) said Thursday it will invest CA$820 million ($570 million) in Canada and create over 700 high-skilled jobs across its operations in the country.
The investment includes moving to a larger facility to Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, the company said.
This initiative will support AstraZeneca's $80 billion global revenue goal by 2030 and its plan to launch 20 new medicines within the same timeframe, it added.
The company said it expects seven phase 3 clinical trial data readouts this year.
