China International Capital Corp. (HKG:3908, SHA:601995) or CICC obtained a license to operate in the UAE's Dubai International Financial Center, the South China Morning Post reported Thursday.
CICC, through unit CICC Hong Kong Securities, will be allowed to arrange and advise on credit financial products, and investment deals, according to the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) website.
CICC will join China's five largest banks to operate in the financial center, helping expand financial services tablet to support cross-border operations, theeSCMP said, citing DFSA Chief Executive Officer Ian Johnston.
