Argosy Minerals (ASX:AGY) updated the hydrogeological dynamic model for its Rincon lithium project in Argentina after an upgraded total mineral resource estimate in November 2024, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The modeling shows brine abstraction for 12,000 tonnes per annum lithium carbonate operations can be sustained for 45 years and brine abstraction for 24,000 tonnes per annum lithium carbonate operations can be sustained for 23 years, the filing said.

The upgraded estimate comprises 731,801 tonnes of lithium carbonate with a weighted mean average lithium concentration of 329 milligrams per liter and 412 cubic millimeters of potentially recoverable brine.

The dynamic modeling was conducted by AQ2 to consider various brine abstraction scenarios for the estimate based on sustainable lithium brine pumping rates.

Argosy Minerals' shares fell past 3% in recent trading on Monday.
