Alkane Resources Says December Quarter Gold Production at New South Wales Project Under Forecast, Shares Fall 8%

Alkane Resources (ASX:ALK) said that gold production from the Tomingley gold operation in New South Wales reached 14,852 ounces in the December 2024 quarter, below forecast, offset by the gold-in-circuit which increased by around 1,700 ounces, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Its gold sales for the quarter for its Tomingley unit came in at 16,576 ounces for a revenue of AU$59.4 million at an average price of AU$3,582 per ounce.

The fiscal year 2025 production guidance for Tomingley ranged from 70,000 ounces to 80,000 ounces at an all-in-sustaining cost of AU$2,400 per ounce to AU$2,600 per ounce.

Its shares fell 8% in recent trade on Monday.
