Salarius Pharmaceuticals (SLRX) and Decoy Therapeutics, a privately held firm, disclosed Monday a definitive agreement under which Decoy will merge with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salarius.
Shares of Salarius soared about 142% as intraday trading volume catapulted to roughly 109 million from a daily average of more than 352,000.
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) said Monday it agreed to acquire Intra-Cellular Therapies (ITCI) for about $14.6 billion in cash to strengthen its neuroscience portfolio.
Shares of Intra-Cellular advanced 34% as intraday trading volume soared to more than 28.7 million from a daily average of over 622,000.
CPI Aerostructures (CVU) said Raytheon Technologies (RTX) authorized CPI to begin manufacturing pod structures and air management system components. "The binding notification provides a maximum value of $33.4 million," CPI said.
Shares of CPI jumped 16%, with intraday trading volume at over 176,000 compared with a daily average of more than 42,000.
