Nordic Resources (ASX:NNL) has been granted three new exploration licenses for its Pulju nickel-copper-cobalt project in northern Finland, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The new licenses, Rooni-Holtti, Saalamaselka, and Kaunisma increase the company's exploration rights over 12 km of continuous strike within the Mertavaara Formation, which hosts mineralized ultramafic units across the project, the filing said.
Rooni-Holtti, in particular, connects with existing licenses and holds strong nickel and copper potential, offering resource expansion opportunities at the Hotinvaara deposit at the project, the filing added.
