True North Copper (ASX:TNC) named Paul Cronin non-executive chairman, succeeding Ian McAleese, effective Monday, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.
Cronin, co-founder and former chief executive of Adriatic Metals (ASX:ADT), has 30 years of experience in exploration, mining, corporate finance, investment banking, portfolio management, and commodity trading, the filing said.
True North Copper's shares surged 1,400% in recent Monday trade, while Adriatic Metals' shares slipped past 2%.
