1029 ET - Roku beats street estimates as the cable competitor reaches a milestone of 90 million streaming households in the first week of January. "We think it continues to get incrementally harder to argue against Roku's reach," Benchmark analysts say, although they acknowledge that much of that reach is coming from lesser-monetized international subscriptions. However, the new year brings a line of sight to revenue upside, the analysts say, through new initiatives and the potential for YouTube monetization, plus a chance to enter the live sports segment. Shares rise 1.3% to $80.95. (emon.reiser@wsj.com; @emonreiser)
