Helios Technologies launched a chief financial officer search and made an interim position permanent, appointing Sean Bagan as president and chief executive.
Bagan has been interim president and CEO of the engineered motion- and electronic-controls technology company since July, when Josef Matosevic was terminated from the roles following an internal probe that found that he violated company policy.
Bagan most recently was Helios' CFO, a position in which he will continue until a replacement is found. He has also been nominated to the company's board.
The board has launched a search for a new top finance chief, it said Monday. It has contracted an external search firm and is considering both internal and external candidates.
