Sprocomm Intelligence (HKG:1401) has formed a special task force to investigate the alleged findings of the Securities and Futures Commission regarding the higher concentration of shareholding in the firm, a Tuesday bourse filing said.
The manufacturer and seller of mobile phones and printed circuit boards named non-executive director Ching Khei Cheong Christopher as the chairman of the special task force.
The Securities and Futures Commission's inquiry in November had shown that a few shareholders held 91% of the company's issued shares.
The firm had reassured investors that at least 25% of its issued shares were in the public's hands as of Nov. 7.
