SingTel Repurchases 2.7 Million Shares

Singapore Telecommunications (SGX:Z74) repurchased 2.7 million shares at an average price of SG$3.07 each on Wednesday, totaling SG$8.3 million, according to a same-day filing on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

The buyback, intended to satisfy obligations under the Singtel Performance Share Plan 2012, brings the total shares repurchased to 9.8 million, or 0.0593% of its issued shares since the program began on July 30.
