CHICAGO, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for soybeans and corn were mostly steady to higher on Wednesday in the U.S. Midwest as farmer selling remained slow, grain dealers said.
* The soybean basis jumped by 15 cents a bushel at a river terminal in Savanna, Illinois, and by 5 cents at a Decatur, Indiana processor.
* Soybean crush margins have declined since early November but remain profitable, supporting processor demand.
* Chicago Board of Trade January soybean futures SF25 were down 6-3/4 cents at $9.85 per bushel by 11:50 a.m. CST (1750 GMT). CBOT March corn futures CH25 slipped 2 cents to $4.30-1/4 a bushel. GRA/
