1853 ET - Victoria's Secret latest results prove it's on a path to recovery, Jefferies analysts say in a research note. The lingerie retailer's near-term top-line trends are partly pressure by macro-related headwinds, which may could hinder its brand recovery efforts, the analysts add. Still, while the intimates marketplace remains challenged, the analysts are encouraged by newly appointed CEO Hillary Super's early results. " While we do not expect a linear recovery, we believe that Victoria's Secret's long-term opportunity remains unchanged and that the company is capable of restoring lost sales while recapturing margin."Shares fall 0.4% to $47.82 in post-market trading.
