RTX's Collins Aerospace Unit Receives $95 Million Order for MAPS Gen II Navigation Systems

RTX (RTX) said Monday its Collins Aerospace unit received a $95 million order from the US Army and Marine Corps for its MAPS Gen II navigation systems, designed to support protection for combat vehicles against electronic warfare.

The order marks the fourth contract for the jam-resistant hardware, which integrates navigation, terrain mapping, and secure positioning data for use in contested environments, the company said.

Collins is expanding its production and introducing installation kits to meet demand and streamline implementation, RTX added.
